April 2012 archive
In honor of my upcoming wedding (only 26 days left!) I had to revisit the wedding of all weddings. Besides Kate and Wills, of course.

It’s Barbie and Ken! This is from last year but it was just so inventive, plus it’s Barbie so therefore timeless.

One more classic couple.
Yellow is such a happy color, it’s like wearing a bit of sunshine. Here are my favorite ways to wear the color in a variety of shades and styles.

One year ago today was the fairy tale wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton…and I was one of the crazy ones who got up far too early in the morning to watch the event unfold! Yes, I did DVR it but I was too excited to wait!

The most exquisite guests, Victoria looking incredible but David rivaled her with the utmost of accessories; a top hat.

The wedding was lovely to watch. However, even more enjoyable has been the past year following Kate’s style.
More ideas for a Spring redo, yesterday I focused on the parlor and now on to the chambre à coucher.

The over-sized Moroccan stool, touches of pink, and padded headboard all look luxe while staying streamlined and uncluttered

The ultimate sitting room

Love the zebra pattern mixed with the geometric patterns and pops of bright color

No room is complete without a macaron to nibble on

Just like in my last post, I am loving the pop of orange

Every mirror should have Lanvin hearts

The ideal decor for a shopper
I am longing to freshen up my little abode and have been culling ideas. I was a bit surprised to see just how much I apparently prefer the combination of blue, white and orange (specifically Hermes orange).

I adore a chevron pattern and love the ikat feel this has, especially when the blue and white is mixed with the Hermes orange boxes (in honor of my Hermes obsession)

Obsessed with an Hermes tray since seeing it in Olivia Palermo’s home

Just a little more Hermes touch. I love the way the colors play off each other.

This Chanel tray is another option to the Hermes tray

I love sparkles and the disco effect of this chandelier

An homage to Chanel and shoes on display…LOVE!

This made me realize that a metallic clutch would make the ultimate bookend

A lighter version of the blue and white in Tiffany Blue mixed with my favorite chevron pattern

More blue, white and orange plus the ikat print again
An LV trunk stuffed full of flowers to continue the luxe
If I ever have a baby, she will have to be like this (anything else would break my heart)!

Hermes, oh Hermes…perfect in so many ways, from the scarves, to the bracelets to the bags and more! I am obsessively coveting several Hermes items, all shown below…
Adore the feelings this ad from Hermes’ J’aime Mon Carré campaign evokes

I desperately need this belt

And the enamel H bracelet

Plus a large scarf

And I desperately, MUST have the Constance bag!

The mother of them all, the Birkin (but I still want the Constance more)
It never seems to matter how many bags, purses, clutches, totes, etc I possess. I always see another that I need. These are my latest wants…

I love the mix of the casual canvas with the pop of bright green, while the gold zippers with black trim tie the two sides together.

Great size for a daytime bag & the grey color makes for a great neutral. I love the teddy bear for the fun effect at softening all the zippers.

The red clutch is fantastic with the striped top and dark skirt.

This bag is the ultimate chic canvas summer bag.
I adore tons of bracelets, rings…really any jewelry makes me happy! I love the huge variety of bracelets and rings shown here on Refinery 29.

Btw, be sure to check out Charm and Chain. They are one of my favorites!
Images like this always make me want to dye my hair red
