Mixing brights with Neutrals
Brights are an on trend, fun addition to a summer wardrobe and mixing them with neutrals such as denim or grey is an easy way to integrate them into your wardrobe seamlessly.

Pretty moments and beautiful thoughts always perk up my day…happy Saturday!
Glitter makes everything better
So much better than the ice cream man!
Longchamp bag is so perfect, easy and reminds me of a classic French woman
Reminiscent styling of Audrey Hepburn
Lovely and oh so delicious!
Classic accessories are perfect with a striped dress
Love this color
This makes me want to throw a garden party!
Off for a mini weekend trip to NYC. It’s nearly midnight and as usual I have not packed yet. I don’t know why but I always procrastinate to the very last second. Although I firmly believe I would still pack as much as I do whether I packed 10 minutes or 10 days before a trip!
My packing attempts will be reminiscent of this!
I will be going to Laduree for a much needed macaron, along with a trip to the Met for the Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations exhibit.
I love going to NYC and have several little spots I always have to go to; including favorite parks, shops and friends to see. A few of my must do’s can be found here, along with my favoite spot for boho shopping.
I need this in my little chalet! Imagine the possibilities of champagne at the touch of a button…
My obsession with denim continues. Past posts can be found here, here and here.
This look combines all my favorite pieces; over-sized clutch, bright flats, chunky bracelets, pretty blouse, statement necklace & hair plus the perfect skinnies folded to the perfect length
The denim top’s casual styling juxtaposes well with the lace bottom
Cute twist on a denim shirt, wearing it over-sized like a man’s top
Skinnies with a sliver of leg shown above the booties
The denim top and blazer mix could have been masculine, especially buttoned all the way up but the scarf and braid soften the look
Again, this styling could have become quite masculine but folding the cuffs so high and adding the ankle booties gives a girlish flair
The pop of bright blue shoes mixed well with white and denim
Soft, worn in jeans become something more when mixed with a beaded, ruffled jacket and leopard print top
In honor of the iconic Vidal Sassoon and his incredible style. His belief towards hair to was to embrace a “wash and wear” philosophy, while his haircuts were so incredible that he changed the world with his scissors.
The Met is always one of my favorite places, so I am always very excited for the Met Gala every year. Here are my favorite looks from last night’s red carpet. As for this years exhibit? Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations…MUST see! More NYC summer ideas here.
Adore Diane Kruger’s style and she brings her daring style in a winning look by Prada
Marion Cotillard is stunning in Dior Haute Couture
Perfectly styled for Carey Mulligan’s quirkiness in Prada
Nina Dobrev is exquisite in a sequin burnout design by Donna Karan Atelier
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is incredible in Burberry
Emma Stone looks like an adorable kid at a party in Lanvin
Love the story behind this vintage Givenchy worn by Coco Rocha
I love New York in all seasons, even freezing and bundled up in the wintertime. But happily, it’s about to be summer and I will be reveling in the warm weather and things to do!
Fun post on Refinery 29, all about the 29 signs it’s Summer in New York.
One of my favorites must do no matter how long the line, is a burger and shake from Shake Shack. Not healthy, but oh so delicious! Plus my favorite location is at Madison Square Park, so it’s super pretty and comes equipped with boutiques and street vendors along the way. Makes for a fun little time out…especially since the browsing burns the calories from Shake Shack!
The spring chill is still in effect for a bit longer. I love the addition of tights so I can wear dresses and shorts already! I also always love pairing them with booties.
Always classic and easy to combine, black and white can be worn in many ways. I prefer the following versions as they are such chic, casual ways to wear this classic combo.
